The MLS-3 and -3EX switches are hermetically sealed reed switches with form C contacts, rated at 1 amp and a working temperature of +600 Deg. F max. A bias magnet latches the switch maintaining the contact after the float continues to rise or fall with level. The 3EX meets all Class 1, Div 1 codes and the internal switches are UL approved. The MLS-3 is best suited for low power alarm signals. The MLS-3EX is the explosion-proof version of the MLS-3 with terminal block. The MLS-3EX-2 is the DPDT version.
The PS-2 is a pneumatic cam operated switch designed to control air and natural gas from 15 to 100 psi. The PS-2 is rotary cam activated, incorporates a non-bleed switch and is rated to +600 Deg. F max. When the float passes, the cam rotates and latches the switch in the open position. This will allow unobstructed airflow. When the float moves back in the opposite direction the switch unlatches and blocks the airflow. The non-bleed design of the PS-2 can be used to control pneumatic alarms, valves and pumps, and is configured for either a rising or falling activation. |
The MLS-5EX-24, 110, & 220 switch comes in explosion proof housing (same as MLS-3EX) with terminals and hermetically sealed relay rated for 5 Amp, 2 form C, DPDT contacts. The relay is actuated by the float and latches, thus maintaining the contact after the float continues to rise or fall with the level. The 5EX meets all Class 1, Div 1 codes and the internal switches are UL approved. The MLS-5EX is best suited for alarm signals or pumps.
The MLS-10EX-24, 110, & 220 switch comes in explosion proof housing (same as MLS-3EX) with terminals and hermetically sealed relay rated for 10 AMP, 2 form C, DPDT contacts. The relay is actuated by the float and latches, thus maintaining the contact after the float continues to rise or fall with the level. The 10EX meets all Class 1, Div 1 codes and the internal switches are UL approved. The 10EX level switch is used to control pumps, alarms, solenoids, etc., rated to 600 Deg. F max. |
