Heat Tracing, Exotic Materials and Testing Options

Heat Tracing

Both steam and electrical heat tracing is available. With electrical type, a temperature controller is offered which allows the user to select the desired temperature. With steam tracing, four lengths of the gauge are traversed with 3/8 inch stainless tubing and connectors.

Exotic Materials

In addition to the 300 Series stainless steel, PVC and CPVC, the gauge can be fabricated from any non-magnetic material ranging from aluminum to Zirconium. Monel, Hastelloy and Kynar are the typical materials chosen for very corrosive fluids.

Testing

All ISE-Magtech gauges are 100% hydrostatic tested and random samples are x-rayed for proper welding. In addition, further testing may be specified by the customer. These include full P.M.I. and/or radiographic testing as well as hydro tests using specified pressures.
